Hello there. Civil engineering itself is one of the recognized branches in engineering and getting it done from NIT Manipur makes it even better for you. Although it's from NIT,  their is still a problem which is that the placement record for civil engineering in Nit Manipur is not so good. The average package is around 5.7 lakh but the ratio of students placed is comparitively very low. In 2018 their were just 5 students placed while in 2017 out of 29 eligible students only 6 were placed. So this is the department in which they are lacking and that is because it's considered as a new NIT and the the things have not developed that much. So it's a thing which you have to decide whether you can persue your dreams with it or not.

Placements are low particularly in civil branch 

For CSE branch it is quite good with most of the CSE student getting placed in good companies like accenture, capegemini, microsoft etc., for ECE also it is okay mechanical and electrical are also decent. But this college is in need for improvements in terms of placements.
