• The candidates have to appear for the JEE Main entrance examination and obtain a qualifying score in the same.

• The qualified candidates have to appear for the counselling rounds of JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority).

NIT Manipur Ph.D Admission Process 

• The students who have qualified for the GATE/UGC-NET entrance examinations can fill out the National Institute of Technology Manipur application form and submit it to the university before the final date.

• National Institute of Technology Manipur will release a merit list of the candidates who have been selected based on the marks scored in these qualifying marks as well as the marks scored in the Master's degree.

• The candidates who fall under the category of non-GATE/UGC-NET must appear for the written examination conducted by the NIT Manipur by various departments, followed by a personal interview round, to check the eligibility of the candidate for pursuing a Ph.D.

• Finally, the students must submit the required documents and pay the established fees for the NIT Manipur Ph.D. course.
