Hello,
With a NEET UG score of 292 and an All India Rank of 4,60,673, your daughter’s chances of getting a government MBBS seat are very low, as government college cutoffs for all categories are usually much higher. However, she can still try for private or deemed universities, and possibly for management quota seats in some states.
In private medical colleges, admission is possible through state counselling if the NEET qualifying marks are met. The minimum fee for MBBS in private colleges generally ranges from 8–12 lakh per year, while in deemed universities, it can go up to 20–25 lakh per year.
You can consider states like Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, or Puducherry, where private colleges sometimes offer seats at comparatively lower fees. It’s advised to register for multiple state counselling rounds to maximize chances and also check for vacant or stray vacancy rounds towards the end of counselling.

With a score of 292 and an All India Rank of 460673 in NEET UG, it is very difficult to get an MBBS seat in a government medical college because their cutoffs are usually much higher.
For private medical colleges, admission is possible, but the fees are high and the cutoffs vary by state and college. Many private colleges have closing ranks below 3 to 4 lakh, so getting a seat at your daughter’s rank might still be challenging, but you can check during the counselling rounds.
The average private college MBBS fee ranges from around 10 to 25 lakh rupees per year, depending on the state and the type of quota. Some deemed universities charge even higher, up to 1 crore for the full course.
It is best to check the counselling portal of your state.
