There are some guidelines Specifications of photos that are to be uploaded.

They are as follows:

Photograph: Colour photo with white background Mobile photos are also allowed

• Dimension- 3.5 cm x 4.5 cm
• Format- jpg/jpeg format
• Size- 5 to 40 KB

So be sure to follow this criterion and everything would be good.
