Shubha, NEET has taken over AIIMS and JIPMER entrance examinations and not the other way round. NEET also has taken over CMC Vellore admission process in the past. Now all the Central/Deemed Universities also conduct their admission through NEET score. And this will be the same with AIIMS and JIPMER and nothing will change. NTA will be the exam conducting authority and neither AIIMS nor JIPMER get to have a say on the syllabus or weightage. So NTA'S call on this will be final. And we have compiled subject wise weightage for students based on previous years' trends and you can check the link at: https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-chapter-wise-weightage-and-important-topics

Hello

Since this year NEET would be the only exam and there would not be any separate examination for AIIMS and JIPMER the difficulty level of the examination might increase a little bit. But it will follow the pattern followed by NEET and not AIIMS or JIPMER entrance examination.

Hope it helps.
