Dear candidate,

Yes cs branch is trending now because of the high salary they get in getting a job but if you have no interest in the subject even if your study hard and get a good job,you won't be satisfied and happy.Morover since you have not studied computer it will be very difficult for you to grasp. And there are many who don't have interest study the subject and few get good jobs too.

As per your subjects,Maths and physics goes hand in hand for many engineering branches like mechanical, electrical. You can do Msc in the subject you like followed by a phd and become a professor. For biology you can go for medical examination which is neet for becoming a doctor or a physiologist or pharmacist.

These are some option which come in my mind. All THE BEST!

Hi Nithish,

Don't get disheartened if you don't know much things about Programming if you are taking CS course.

There are many students in 1st year of BE courses who also don't know programming and most of them are basic programmers.

In CS, there are C, C++, Python, DS, Algorithms subjects prescribed in the syllabus mandatory. So, you will be studying those subjects together with your peers.

Also, as soon as you get into 1st year, take up an online course on any programming language that you like and learn it side by side.

You'll learn all about these things in your BE course. So, don't worry, just take up the course if you want to and give time everyday on learning coding and other subjects and you'll have no problem.

Good luck!

Hi Nithish,

It is perfectly fine to switch stream after 12th. It does make a big difference in your under graduation performance. You need to be interested in doing anything you choose. Just try it wholeheartedly. And before even trying to study CSE it is not correct that it scares you or you are not interested. Just read the description of the course and talk to people with similar career. It will help you a lot.
