CAT scores are accepted by IIIMs and top other universities, its eligibility criteria is passed Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a recognized university with 50% aggregate, in case of reserved category there's relaxation of 5%. Those in the final years can also apply for CAT.

Hello,

Masters of Business Administration is a professional post graduate degree program to join the corporate world. The minimum eligibility to do MBA is graduation in any discipline from any recognised institution or university with 50% minimum marks.

So, students who have done their graduation from any open University are very much eligible to do MBA.

There are a lot of exams conducted on an all india basis for seeking admission in MBA and the most popular and common among them is CAT that is COMMON APTITUDE TEST conducted by IIMs. Other exams which are conducted for getting admission in MBA are XAT, MAT, SNAP, CMAT, GMAT, NMAT, ATMA etc.

You can give any of these exams or some of these to get admitted to MBA.

To prepare for the entrance exam, firstly you have to decide as to what exams you are going to give. After that you have to read the syllabus of the same and you need to decide your booklist which you are going to refer to prepare for the exam. Then you will have to analyse previous year papers and figure out as to what type of questions are asked in that particular exam and then start your preparation accordingly. Refer only one book for one subject and revise it multiple times. Remember, revision and practice is the key to get thorugh any exam. So you need to revise again and again what you have studied and you have to practice a lot of moch papers and previous year papers to know where do you stand in your preparation.

Let me know if you have any other questions. Thank you!
