Punjabi University, Patiala is among the best engineering colleges of India. The university's Career and Counselling Cum Placement cell looks after the placement processes and brings several companies for recruitment. Toyota, Tech Mahindra, Click labs, Infosys, Newgen Software Technologies etc are some of the companies that recruit Electronics and Communications Engineers from the University with an average package of 2.5 to 3 lpa. However the placement percentage is not so good. Around 50% students gets placed from ECE in top companies. The course is backed up by renowned faculties and the professors also help in various project works. The University also conducts various value added programs such as Skill enhancement program, workshops, Language labs, Soft skill classes, Mock interviews etc.
