For Taking admission in University of California firstly you need to give either ACT with writing exam or SAT reasoning exam or GRE or exams needed for  study  in abroad.
Apart from this you need to follow the following criteria also:

1. Need to have a good academic score in top 5% in your class.
2. You you need to make your resume strong.
3. You you need to write a letter of recommendation.
4. Give GRE exam and security respectful score in it.
5. You need to have a good work experience.
6. You you need to write a statement of your purpose that why you want to join this university.
