Haldia Institute of technology is an autonomous engineering institute in West Bengal. It is approved by AICTE and affiliated to MAKAUT.

Infrastructure:

There is smart classroom and very labs. Hostels are also good. The food provided there is also good. Medical facilities available and also very good. Sports and games are organized in a very good way. So overall the infrastructure is very good.

Faculty:

As it is one of the best stream in this college so the faculties are also good and they teaches and creates interests in you for the subject. They are student friendly and well educated too.

Placement:

Almost 70% students get placed every year. The highest package salary offered was 7 LPA and the lowest salary was 2 LPA. The average salary is 3.6 LPA. The companies come here are, Johnson Control, Yokogawa, PCBL, HPL, Topcem, Wipro and Infosys.
