Admission to all the 23 IITs be it IIT Bombay or IIT Delhi is done on the basis of rank secured in JEE Advance. To appear for JEE Advance a candidate need to qualify JEE Main. After you qualify JEE Mains and secure a good rank in JEE Advance you can select your preferred branch in IIT Bombay during JoSAA Counselling.  Also you need to fulfill the basic minimum eligibility criteria for both JEE Mains and Advance.

Dear Aspirant,

• You must have physics chemistry and mathematics in your plus two.
• Are appearing for 12th or have passed 12th with minimum 75% or be in top 20 percentile of your board.
• Have passed 12th previous year, that is you can only appear for exam in the appearing year and the next year.
• Appear for JEE main exam.
• After qualifying the JEE main exam, appear for JEE advanced.
• Qualify JEE, get a good three figure rank, under 300.
