Chitkara University is a private university in Patiala, Punjab. The University was established in 2010 by the Punjab State Legislature under “The Chitkara University Act”. The University offers courses at Undergraduate, Postgraduate and doctoral level programmes in the fields of Nursing, Engineering, Commerce, Business & Management Studies, Mass Communication & Media, Media, Medicine & Health Sciences and IT & Software. The university takes admission through JEE Mains 2019 marks. It is also one of the top universities of north india. Chitkara University is private university in Punjab eshtablished in 2010. It has a 70 acres campus with all facilities like Boys hostel, Girls hostel , Library , Cafeteria , Bank facilities etc . The number of faculty is around 800 and it is a UGC approved university . Now there are various courses offered by the university . On an average it will cost up to 8 to 10 Lakhs for doing B.Tech from  Chitkara University . For getting admission in enginnering one has to give JEE Mains and according to cutoff one is slected. The placements are quite good in this university . For B.E/B.Tech one can get a package upto 4.20 Lakhs .

Now according to me you can do B.Tech from Chitkara University . Howeever since its a new university so the placements are not 100% gauranteed . However the 4yr course fees is less compared to other private colleges in India. So if you want to then you can go , but I will suggest also try for other universities also . If dont get any of the best universities then go for chitkara university. Keep this as a secondary plan .
