Being a mechanical engineering student at nit Calicut , I feel I am a right choice to respond here.

Faculty:well qualified faculties with almost all of them having PhD. Really student friendly and ready to meet our needs. A very improvised curriculum mainly based on GATE exam and also with a motive to give students an idea about topics dealt in other branches.

Infrastructure: Excellent. So no need to explain more on that .

Placement: a very decent placement % of 80. Highest package is 15 lpa and median about 7 lpa. You also get offers from IT sector other than core provided you are good in coding. Also Placement records are improving year by year.
