Electrical Engineering is one of the best branch to study at Thapar university. Over 80 percent of students from this get placed in good companies. But before you enter this branch, you should be aware of something that I want to share with you. There is a faculty member in electrical and instrumentation department named Ms.Navdeep kaur. Age 35, unmarried and pursuing PHD from last 8 years at Thapar university. She had done her graduation from PTU, one of the worst universities of india. She is very weak in basics of electrical but thinks she is professional. I never saw her happy in my whole degree time Thapar haven't expelled such a low quality teacher from the department.

Thapar University is considered one of the top private institutions in India. Electrical engineering is one of the good branches and is as well a core branch branch. But coming to the query about its placement if you have thorough knowledge and practical knowledge about it then only you'll be able to get good placement through thapar University.
