Greetings! Shyam Lal College is a full-fledged constituent college of Delhi University, offering courses in the filed of science, commerce and humanities. It is ranked 69th by NIRF and is also accredited by NAAC. The college has many collaborations with other universities and colleges.

The infrastructure is good and clean. The college has well-equipped laboratories and smart classrooms for the exposure of its students. The mess and canteen food is of good quality. The library isn't up to the mark as it doesn't contain latest edition books but it has a good infrastructure. Medical facilities are available in case of emergencies. Wi-Fi facilities are available but very slow. The faculty are highly knowledgeable with the latest syllabus and they hold Ph.D degrees in their respective fields.

They provide club and committee activities that include film club, street play, music band, dance club, quiz committee, fine arts, NSS, NCC and photography club, which will be the best of campus life. Various sports activities including indoor and outdoor(basketball, football, badminton...) are dispensed.

The placements are average. 70% of the students get placed. The college provides placement training and many recruiters are invited. The placement package is varies from 3 lakh per annum to 6 lakh per annum.

Shyam Lal College of Delhi University is really a good college as it has an great environment and the metro station is just 150m away from the college. Also, the college offers lot of extracurricular activities for students and the canteen here is great too. The academics in the college are good as the teachers are trained professionals who teach syllabus in the best way so it becomes easier for students to learn. Overall the college has a great rating since the past years.
