Hello Aspirant,

 I can assure you that every department at IIEST is quite good but not Aerospace. No core Aerospace companies come. You should take Mechanical or Electrical if you want a good core job.

Personally I would suggest you Mechanical. Good faculty, placements quite good. And Mechanical has a lot of opportunities.

The truth is in India you will hardly find any core Aerospace companies. If you really want Aerospace, take it only if you get IITs or IIST. Otherwise no institute is good.
