According to previous years cutoff, for mechanical branch, overall you have to get a rank below 313 .

For Gate above 600 should be enough to get you for Mechanical in design engineering. And if you score above 550 then you are eligible for applying in BITS Pilani. And recent news says for Mechanical, you need to score at least 284 in BITSAT.
