Hello Shankarlal,

IIT Kharagpur, West Bengal takes admission through the exam JEE Advance. Now, to be eligible for JEE Advance you first have to clear JEE Mains. According to the previous year trends, the marks for JEE Advance varied as follows -

2017- 366

2016- 372

2015 - 504

2014 - 360

It can be hard to explain the cutoff for Sc category in JEE advance as the rules for calculating JEE advance score is slightly different from the JEE MAIN exam. So my suggestion is to sit for JEE Mains and clear the JEE Mains so that you are eligible for JEE Advance. Being an SC candidate a good score will get you pretty high chances.

Good luck!
