Last year the cut off marks for admission into  government medical college via 15 percent All India Quota was 537/720. The college alloted to this candidate (who had 537 marks) was Tezpur Medical College, Assam. For West Bengal candidates, the cut off was 479 (for general category via 85 percent State Quota, college alloted: Malda Medical College).

Target score for a govt. medical college keeping in mind cut off varies from year to year -

1. 15 percent All India Quota - 550+

2. 85 percent State Quota (for West Bengal) - 500+

For VMMC, through AIQ you need a rank something under 100 for UR which will correspond to a marks of 680+.
