Now there are categories and in each category there are limited no. of seats. There are total 5 categories and based on the category, fees is decided(there is a increase of 1 lakh rupees in each category). Also in VIT Bhopal, candidates up to rank 1 lakh are entertained.

Talking about your rank, its difficult for you to get a seat in first category in CSE branch.You may get a seat in 3 or 4 category in CSE branch(which means you have to pay a handsome amount of fees).

However you can get a seat in first category(or second category) in EEE and ECE branch. Same goes with Mechanical Engineering.
