In CSE, there are 130 B.Tech. seats available at IIIT Guwahati; the batch size can up to 143 students, but it must be at least 117 if all seats are filled. If all seats are filled, the ECE batch size of 70 students can increase to a maximum of 77 students, but it must be at least 63. Therefore, only 7 ECE students will get a branch change if all branch change requests are from ECE to CSE.
