IISc Bangalore is one of the best research colleges in India. It has an intake of 120 students. However, the number of students called in for counselling is slightly greater than 120. For admission to IISc Bangalore, a student needs to clear the KVPY exam. By the end of the academic plan or year, no batch remains at a mark of 120. Due to less marks few students may leave the college in the first year itself.
