Delhi technological university is one of the best university in India, for post graduate courses in engineering dtu is comparable with old iits and top ranked nits. so you may understand the course recruitment. now it also depends on which stream of engineering you want to apply since every year cutoff scores varies and it depends on certain factors like number of participants, questions difficulty level, seat matrix etc. for cs or software engineering program, general category students gate rank should be under 500 to avail seat in m.tech course. however if your gate score is more than 80 percentage out of 100, you have decent chances, once again it depends on the qualifying score of gate every year as per the category wise.

DTU is a very good and old University, so it's always good to get a seat there. So you can't predict anything by just looking into the previous year cutoff. Also depends on your choice. I think you will get a admission call from DTU by looking into previous year cutoff, but can't be assured that same trend of score will be followed this year.
