You would want to get 125-130+ for a rank of 800 or higher, considering the respective cutoffs did rise over the last few years. This year's question was somewhat of equal difficulty I suppose, so assuming not much of difference in competition, cutoffs should almost be the same.

in 2017 the WBJEE opening rank that was for Mechanical Engg was 73 and the closing ranking was 461. The Jadavpur university seats are always filled in the first round and you can see that the ranks needed a high.
