Dear Aspirant,

From this year the JEE exam pattern is change. Now you will have 75 questions in place of 90 questions earlier. Moreover, you have 20 MCQs in each section and 5 Type in the answer type questions in each section (25X3).

The total marks now will be 300, and therefore the marks required for any college will also differ from the previous years.

To give you a general idea, you have to get a rank between 3-10k to get into PEC, Chandigarh. That translates to around 200-240 marks in mains out of 360.

You atleast have to score 10k if you belong to general category. If you have any kind of reservation then your rank will go down anyway. That will be helpful for you to take an admission. With maximum you have to score 10k. A rank above it will make your chances low. So prepare accordingly such that you get a rank below 10k.
You can even try for other states government colleges with that rank who accepts jee main for admission.
But to have a college of own choice a rank below 10k is must
