Here are the pre-r equisites of becoming a NASA astronaut-:

1. The candidate must have bachelor's degree in Computer/Physical science, engineering, biology, or maths.
2. Applicants must have an aggregate of 65%.
3. A minimum of 3 years of professional experience is required or 1,000 hours of piloting.

These are pre requisites to become a astronaut in NASA.

NASA recruit for doctors time to time but a fresh MBBS graduate have a least chance to be recruited by NASA. You need to have at least 5 year experience or you can go for MD or MS after your MBBS in advanced medicines. Then your chances of selection will be high.
