Let me offer some details on the Bachelor of Physiotherapy (B.PT) 

course at the St.John Medical College , Bengaluru.

• Number of Seats for Regular : 40 

• Number of seats for Lateral Entry : 4  

• Duration of course : 4 years 

• Internship : 6 months 

Educational Qualification Eligibility :

A candidate who has passed the 2 year Pre-University exam

conducted by the Pre University Education Board of Karnataka State with English

 as one of the subjects and Physics, Biology and Chemistry .

Or 

A candidate who has passed Boards / Councils / Intermediate examination 

established by State / Central Government and recognized as equivalent to a 

2 year Pre University Examination by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences /

 Association of Indian Universities (AIU) with English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology.

 Or 

 Candidates who have completed the pre-university course with Vocational Physiotherapy 

and their optional subjects are eligible for admission to the BPT course.

Admission process :

For filling out the application , you would need to visit the below link 

and fill in the details for admission registration purposes .

After successful registration, you would need to login with the registered 

Email ID and password received to fill the online Application form. 

After filling the application form, marks card of the qualifying examination

 has to be uploaded . You will also have to make the online mode of payment .

After the final submission, the Admissions’ office will check and approve 

the application form and the hall ticket/admit card will be made available to you.

There will be an entrance exam immediately followed by an interview . 

Based on the performance in the entrance exam, II PUC / standard XII / equivalent

 exam marks and the interview the candidates will be selected for the course.
