JEE Main 2017 Counselling Registration Process

Online Registration:

• Candidates have to register online to fill in their choices of Institutes and branches.
• Candidates have to enter their JEE Main roll no. and password. Once logged in, the candidates have to go through the profile to ensure that all personal information shown is correct.
• The candidates will have to click on “Password Change” .It is mandatory to change the password.

Selection of Choice

• Candidates have to fill in their choices of Institutes and branches according to their preferences in decreasing order. Candidates are advised to fill in as many choices as possible.
• Candidates must “Lock” their choices. If a candidate fails to do so, their last saved choices will be locked automatically when the time-window of filling in of choices closes.
• Allotment of Seat:
• There will be six rounds of Seat allocation process for academic programs offered by the Participating Institutes of JEE Main 2017 .
• Candidates participating in subsequent rounds are required to fill option for ‘freeze’, ‘slide’ or ‘float’ the choice of academic program.
• Fees Payment:
• Candidates are not required to make any payment for registration and filling up of choices.
• To accept allotted seats, candidates must pay seat acceptance fee. The seat acceptance fee for SC, ST, PwD candidates in Rs.20, 000 and for others it is Rs.45, 000.
• Candidates have to pay the seat acceptance fee through e-challan at any branch of State Bank of India (SBI) or pay online using SBI Internet banking.
