Anna University has various Undergraduate, Post graduate and Doctoral Programmes for students. You haven't mentioned your highest qualification and the course that you want to pursue.  For BE, B.Tech and B.Arch, candidates should have appeared for TNEA and the admissions are based on merit. Candidates who have qualified for NATA are also eligible for B.Arch in Anna University. For ME, M.Tech, M. Arch, MBA and MCA courses, candidates should appear and qualify in TANCET. Students who have appeared for GATE for M.Tech and M.E, needn't appear for TANCET. There is an entrance examination conducted for candidates for admissions into M.Sc and M.Phil courses. Ph. D admisisons are based on relevant entrance examinations.
