Both of those fields have distinct futures so go for the one that appeals to you the most. Typically, BDS is the more popular choice after MBBS for a variety of reasons like salaries, repute, self satisfaction, research options in the future, etc. Do not rush it, decide as per your career plans and vision for the next few years.

After BDS you can pursue MDS and surely excel in dentistry. There is a great demand for dental surgeons.

The scope of BAMS is wide & the demand is increasing day by day. In this you  will get to study modern medicine and now after BAMS you have the permission of Surgeory after MD. A lot of work is going on in foreign countries too. So, if you wish to you can also enter in research field.
