To get a seat in IIM,the basic qualification is you should have a graduation degree.As you are in 3rd year improve your academic marks because academic marks also matters in the final selection process.After completing your graduation ,you need to give the CAT exam which is an entrance exam to do MBA in IIM's.

The selection process into the IIM's include CAT score,academics (10th,12th and graduation),GD and PI.

As you are in 3rd year of BTech you have enough time to prepare for the exam.start preparing for CAT exam whenever you got the free time.Know the topics related to Aptitude,Reasoning and verbal.

Your Academic marks are low but if you can get a good CAT score of above 95 percentile and perform well in GD and PI .IIM A is not a difficult task.Even if you can't get IIM A ,you will get any one of the IIM's.

All you need to do is start preparing for CAT exam and improve your communication skills .
