GUJCET is a state level exam that gives priority to candidates from Gujarat. However, I will suggest you to check the complete eligibility criteria of GUJCET before applying.

Since it is a state level entrance exam, domicile will be required. According to GUJCET Eligibility:

• Candidates need to be from Gujarat to get admission through GUJCET.
• If candidates are living in some other state but are bonafide residents of Gujarat, then they will be eligible for admission.
• Also, candidates will be eligible for admission if their parents are of Gujarat origin and are serving out of the state in the service of Central Government or other State Government, Armed Forces, Boards or Cooperations owned or controlled by the Central or State or any nationalised bank.

Yes sure. There is always a non local category of seats available for each state. So even if you give the exam you would fall into the non native category of students.
