Hello there,

Yes, you are eligible to apply for state quota. As to my knowledge, there is no prohibition from acquiring a MBBS Seat while already enrolled in a professional course. However, the prerequisite would be a good score in NEET 2018 to secure a seat in a good medical college. I hope you find this helpful. All the very best!

With a score of 260, you predicted rank will be approximately 2.4 lakh. Chances are there as the cut offs also have dropped. Under Reserved category, candidates have got a seat with scores as less as 217 marks. This was 2017 trends. However, it will be better if you keep your options open. It will also depend on your state rank. All the best!

Based upon your score in NEET 2018, and the previous year cutoff, chances are less for admission to Government Medical Colleges under All India Quota. You may have chances for admission to government colleges under state quota.
