I have recently gone through a news online that Delhi High court has put an stay on IPU for taking admission in LAW discipline on the basis of CLAT score in the year 2019. In IPU, admission in Law discipline was previously done on the basis of IPU CET score but in the year 2019 they had decided to take admission on the basis of CLAT score which is currently facing problem in the High Court.
By the way IPU doesn't provide option to choose from IPU CET or CLAT during admission, they will only take admission either through CLAT or IPU CET score.
They have recently gone to High Court saying that it is now too late to conduct CET for Law which was also rejected by the Court.
It will be better if you appear in CLAT and IPU CET(if any) both to be on the safe side.

According to Ggsipu , the university no longer conduct ipu CET exam for admission.
They accept Clat for law admission .
So you can prepare for Clat and register yourself.
Candidates seeking for admission into undergraduate law programme need to appear in the Clat and qualify the same. National level law examination will be conducted offline .
