I am not able to find my category in Karnataka CET exam. I am an obc , but I have selected general merit because I was unable to find that my category lies in which one (1,2A,2B,3A,3B)?how to know it please help?(My cast is Barai)

Hello Aspirant,

There is an option to select the category to which you belong. You should fill OBC category in the application form since you belong to that category and your counselling will be done on the basis of that category only. You have mentioned that you have filled general category in the application form so your counselling will be done on the basis of the cutoff that will come under general category.

You can check in which category your caste come by contacting the official authorities of government department, they will issue you a caste certificate and you can give the caste certificate to the authorities of the exam concerned.
