Hello Sindhu,

Masters in statistics is demanded by many PSUs, so you would not be facing a dearth of jobs. Also, you can try for lectureship as that is a very good option.Since you have to give UGC NET for that, it will further help you in securing a PSU job.

Now coming to the benefits of doing Ph.D. in IIT -

It is the best decision for a career in the research field. So you can always try for a job in research-oriented profile or research and development profile.
