I belong to state tamilnadu..if I pursue mbbs ug in jipmer kaarikal and thn after completing 51/2 yrs.. for pg will I get state Quota 50 percent?I'm Tamil Nadu! am I eligible for 50 percent state Quota?

Hello Aspirant

Whichever state you opt for your MBBS becomes your home state and you get reservation benefits in the colleges of the particular state in the PG exam.

Eg: a student from Bihar goes and seeks admission in Rajasthan and completes his 5.5 year MBBS there. For his NEET PG, his home state becomes Rajasthan and he will be eligible for reservation benefits in Rajasthan and not in Bihar anymore.
