SRM Universities have always been a popular and most demanding choices for the students due to there infrastructure and their academic growth as well as their placement records which have evolved them as best private University in India. Now the rank which you have scored is good one but very sorry to say that you won’t able to get seat for Mechanical in Main campus and the main reason is that the Mechanical field is quite old and popular and also the Main campus is recognised as the best campus of SRM hence it would be required very high marks to get admission here, but never the less you can surely try in some medium level SRM campus where you will find little better chance of getting admission.
