I think you should opt for VIT. The name of SRM college has come down because of various reasons and is no more a good college. VIT is very better when compared to SRM

As far as I know, I wouldn't suggest you to join SRM. Any other college would be a better option.

Pls attend both. You stand a good chance in both - main campuses. The ranks are good. You have to see the branches you are getting and then decide where you wish to go. Attend the SRM counselling and then VIT. See which you get and take the seat. Withdraw and ask for refund from the other one.
