There are no category divisions for admissions in VIT. However, you will be receiving scholarships depending upon the rank you receive.

Since the first 20,000 rank holders will be called first for phase I counselling, there is a high chance of you getting a fee waiver in your interested branch.

As you are interested in the Integrated M.Tech program, your VITEEE mark isn't exactly necessary but it will surely give you an upperhand. Here is the crtiteria:

• Completed 12 years of schooling with a valid transfer certificate and a mark sheet.
• Minimum of 60% overall average marks in the 12th standard exams and a minimum of 60% in (Physics/Chemistry/Mathematics)
• Candidates whose date of birth falls on or after 1st July 1995 are eligible to apply
