you can expect a seat of cutoff from and greater than your rank.you cannot expect a seat in the college if the cutoff is 30k because it is higher rank than yours,students whose rank is 30k can get seat incollege whose cutoff is 30k.so if your rank is 42k then you can get only those colleges whose cutoff is 42k or 43k i.e which ever college has cutoff greater than 42k you can fetch a seat there.for more info about your chances into colleges check:
