You have stated 2 options of almost equal scope, I would say. It would also depend on the state where you are from, however doing BDS would be getting huge attention in future. The recent trends suggest, B.Sc has become a bit overcrowded though. In any field you would be required to work hard and study more. I suggest you to not only consider the scope thing, but also try to think out what your interest lies in and work accordingly.
