there are medium chances of getting colleges for B.Sc. chemistry in DU as they have cut offs of around 96% or maybe more *as per last years cutoffs*

although the 5th cutoff lists and further might reach you there at 71.2%.

you can further add points to your CV if you are holding any certificate in ECA (extra curricullar activities) like sports, dance, music and so on.

you can also check for reservations as 

for general, the fifth cutoff has admission chances with this marks in Hindu college.

for ST, for 4th cutoff list onwards colleges like motilal nehru, deen dayal upadhyay and rajdhani colleges are available.

for SC, shivaji, atma ram and so.

Sorry to inform you but having 71.2% in your 12th i find it almost impossible for you to get admissions in the University of Delhi for pursuing Bsc. Chemistry as the cutoffs for it is quite high and doesn't falls below 80-85% in any scenario and as not mention i guess you don't have any sort of quota and are of general category. If you have any quota you'll get a seat as the cutoffs are bit low for them but if not i find it hard. Anyway you can surely try to get a college in South Campus.
