As per the latest updates, LPU is not giving admission on the basis of jee. However, you can get admission based on the Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST (https://nest.lpu.in/engineering/index.php) .

The university has not yet released any guidelines pertaining to admission in the basis of JEE score. Since you have already qualified JEE, I would suggest that you appear for LPUNEST for an admission in LPUs B Tech CSE program. It is LPUs admission cum scholarship test conducted for various programs. But from this year the university is set up their criteria that a person should not have below 60% in boards and with that criteria, he must also be able to qualify LPU NEST. So from this year yes it is compulsory to qualify LPU NEST also.

Not necessary but if u have good marks in 12 and if u will write ur LPU NEST exam then there chances that u have got good scholarship which give u edge over jee main marks. I suggest u should write LPU NEST exam beacuse there is no negative marking in the test. LPU NEST is conducted in online mode only and university has created centres in more than 200 cities across India. The question pattern followed in the LPUNEST is 30 questions on Physics, Chemistry and Maths/Biology and 20 questions on English. There is no negative marking in this examination and each correct answer fetches 4 marks. The syllabus for this test is similar to that of the +2.
