Dear Adarsh, 
A mere 79% in Best of four is not enough to get you admission in Delhi University. The admission and cutoff mainly depends on your category and the course you want to pursue. But as far as general category is concerned,  79% is not enough to get you admission.
There are some courses like Hindi Hons. and Sanskrit Hons which have relatively less cutoffs,  you can opt for these courses,  if you want.

Sorry to inform you but there is no chance that you can get into DU. Almost all the colleges have their closing cutoff as low as 85% for General Category, and no further. So if you are 'general' there is no chance that you can get any DU college. However, if you belong to OBC-NCL category you might check out P.G.D.A.V COLLEGE but the probability is low. And, if you belong to SC/ST then you might get a seat in following colleges that too in the 5-6th round onwards.
