I myself have appeared for the wbjee previous year and secured approx 70 marks and my rank was 4300 .So considering the previous year scenario you can accept a rank between 1500-2500 .

You can get IEM, Heritage institute of technology, Maulana Abdul kalam azad university of technology,Techno India etc. You have rare chancee of getting jadavpur university too.

Hello Md Sahil Raza. With 85 marks you can expect to get ranking in the range 2000 to 4000. If you get ranking around 2k , you can take CSE/IT in Kalyani University. Even if you get ranking around 4k , you can prefer CSE in Heritage Institute of Technolgy or Institute of engineering and management.

Now , if you are elligible for surely you can opt for any other preffered branch.
