The admissions for B.Sc in DU will be done based on your 12th class marks.There is no specific cutoff for it based on the marks of all the applicants the University releases a list of students who are eligible for admission.Basically the only criteria that the University has mentioned is that the student should have 55% or more in aggregate of 3 subjects and should pass in one compulsory language i.e English wit 50% marks.

No, the chances are rather very slim to none by scoring 87%, and approaching mathematics hons. as a course to pursue .

However, check for the last cutoff once, may be there is some hope to get in.

You may get an admission in DU but it all depends on what stream you prefer for BSc and also it will vary for programme and Hons courses. Your category will play a major role in your admission as if you belong to a general category then it is little hard to get admission and even if you get the admission then the college you'll be getting won't be that good. If you belong to reserved category then it is somewhere possible for you to get North Campus. For more details look at last year's cut off on
