Yes you can get admission in DU on merit basis in B.Sc. (Hons) based on your 12th marks. You have not specified your category so assuming general category you might not get your prefered college in first cut off but you will surely get it in subsequent cutoffs. Just wait for the right cutoff and college of your choice.

University of Delhi enrolls the students for Bachelors of Science,Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Commerce on the basis of Merit. The cut offs are designed keeping in mind the highest percentage scored.
To be honest 88.4 per cent is good enough for you to get a college in Delhi University.You may not get into top 10 colleges in first cutoff but in the subsequent cut offs you may get it. Plus,if you belong to any category then you may get it easily.
