VIT University has cancelled VITEEE 2020. This is because of Covid 19 pandemic. Now admissions in vit will be on xii score basis.  The eligibility is the candidate must have secured Minimum 60% marks in Physics Chemistry and mathematics.  Since you have got 245/300 which more than 60% hence you are eligible for admission in VIT but in which branch you will get seat, can't be predicted now. This is for first time that admissions to BE / BTech courses are given without VITEEE or JEE main score .

see from this year vit is taking admission based on 12th course, however vit has four campus, which is vit vellore, vit chennai, vit  aP, vit bhopal. candidates need to give their choices of engineering stream as well as center choices to get participate in engineering courses. now this is for the first time and since many of the board exam has cancelled , average number is quite high, vit vellore comes under top among otner vit campus. so the chances seems quite difficult to get vit vellore for computer science or IT at this score.

however do participate in the counselling process and lets see whats come around.
