Marks required in qualifying the examination is minimum 45% aggregate for general and 40% for reserved category in the subjects taken.

The maximum marks that can be scored in EAMCET exam is 160. The paper consists of 160 questions, each having an equal weightage of 1 mark. Maximum score that can be obtained is 160. The weightage of these marks is 75.

EAMCET score is multiplied by 75/160.

To score below 5000 rank, you will have to score above 75. It is not that easy since all the students get marks tightly packed between 60-75.

You need to really mug up everything that has been taught to you in 11th and 12th class syllabus.

All the best.
